Ria talks to Training & Development Consultant, Donna Taberer, who has worked in British Television now for over 30 years. After a fabulous career in television in production and commissioning, Donna has spent the past 15 years helping support the careers of others through the prestigious Amazon Prime Video Pathway initiative. Donna started her career in print journalism working her way up the BBC ranks to exec producer working on live, factual, documentaries and formats. Previous roles include Head of Talent for Content at the BBC, where Donna was responsible for the senior hires of Commissioners and senior executives at the broadcaster. Donna was also the Director of the prestigious ScreenSkills Series Producer Programme, which develops the next generation of series producers which has seen many of the industries finest creatives flourish. Throughout her colourful career, she’s also ran huge departments at the BBC, including the BBC Academy and she's worked as a Commissioner in Entertainment at Sky and Channel 5.
