She spearheaded the partnership between Sky and the MAMA Youth, along with starting other schemes to help young people get into the industry, before becoming the Chair of the National Film and Television School. Her dedication to championing fairness in early careers continues in this role, as she's introduced cost-of-living allowances for students along with other scholarships and bursaries. Sophie also speaks about balancing parenthood with a career, encouraging women to not feel they have to choose between either. We discuss the current TV landscape, with Sophie expressing her confidence that the industry will bounce back after witnessing similar patterns throughout her long career. Looking ahead to the future, Sophie gives her view of how AI is disrupting the industry and how we can all prepare to be ahead of the curve.
